As much as I dislike Monster Cable and how they rip their customers off. These are the best banana connectors I've found. I've set up quite a few home theaters, and these are definitely the easiest to use, and most compatible by far. Well worth what they cost.
This banana connectors are easy to use and apear solid, with good quality. The only con is its price, a little on the expensive side, even being Monster.
These connectors are easy to install on a range of cable gauges from lamp cord (if you must use it) up to hefty speaker cables. They are excellent for installations like home theater or two channel. They fit a range of amplifier ouputs and speaker inputs.Be sure to trim the ends of the cable before you install the plug.
I use these in every system in my house. With the exception of a few super high quality cables in my one high end audio system, I rely on these for any situtation where using bare cable ends is not going to be convenient or effective.Easy to use, seem to NOT have any sonic detriment.Easy to remove and re-use.And I've not seen anything else out there like this.I don't agree that it's over priced. It's a high quality product at a fair price, IMO.
Although I'm not a fan of huge name brands that overcharge for the name, I've got to admit that these are the best banana plugs for the money. They're easy to install - the crimping really works - and are quite strong. The plugs feel solid and snug, and don't come off easily.Highly recommend these for beginners and pros alike.
